BR07: Lucky number

Charlie catches the ticket. He has the ticket in his hand. (p. 11)
Charlie shines shoes all day in front of Cafe Colombo without going to school. He is poor boy. Oneday he saw an old man was selling lottery tickets and a well-dressed man in Cafe Colombo was shouting, "Give me a ticket! Hurry!" An old man put the ticket in his pocket quickly. But the ticket felt out of his pocket and the wind blew the ticket into the air. Charlie caught the ticket by his hand. He shouted out loudly to the man but the man did not hear Charlie. Then the taxi which the man was in moved away. Charlie showed his mother in his house, and after that he felt asleep without the ticket. He woke up in the morning, there were not the ticket. His mother was at the lottery office with the ticket. The ticket number was lucky...?
I think it was not lucky number. To be sure, Charlie is poor and I want him to be happy. But he did not buy it by his money. He should become happy by his power. Good luck Charlie.
